Chinese Astrology

You are an animal! Knowing which one is another part of your puzzle.

Chinese Asrology

Although it differs from Western Astrology in many ways as far as how the signs are derived and divided, Chinese Astrology strives to accomplish the same goal of helping you realize the natural tendencies you may have due to the position of stars and planets in our sky at the time of your prenatal development, your birth and your infancy. Chinese Astrology has a primary animal designation based on the year of your birth and most people think that is all. However, if you dig a little deeper, you find that Chinese Astrology also assigns animals according to the month, day and time of your birth, similar to Western Astrology's use of the Rising Sign, Moon Sign, etc.

Which one should you believe? Well, it is my opinion and experience that the best approach to Astrology, Divinations and matters of the Occult... is that you should believe all of them and none of them. In other words... you have to make your own decisions and take responsibility for your own life. Nobody can do that for you. So... don't believe any of them to have all the answers. By the same token, the more you know about what the influences are inside you and coming from the Universe and people around you, the better you can ask yourself the right questions to make the best decision. The Universe has made available all these clues for us to use in our introspection and development of our goals and life paths... so why not believe that all of these methods can hold some value in helping you figure out what you want and what you want to do?

Your Chinese Animal Sign

We can go deeper into the Animals assigned to you by month, day, time, etc during a consultation. Remember my goal... to help make sense of all the different tools available and encourage you to believe in yourself.... I am all about making sense of the bigger picture. That is why I am trying to offer as much information on this Website as possible for you do as much research on your own as care to do. I also don't want to overwhelm you, so I'm presentig a pretty high level view of things.

Here is a list of the Chinese Astrology Animals and Links for you to learn about what characteristics each animal portrays. The animals representing each year start roughly at the end of January rather than the beginning, so if your birthday is in late January or Early February, you may actually be the animal designated for the previous year. Born on the Cusp?

If you were born within a few days of the Start/End of your sign, you are considered to be "on the cusp" of both signs. This means your predominant traits are those of your designated Animal Sign, but that you will also likely have various characteristics and/or influences of the other sign closest to yours.
