Numerology

The study of the numbers around us and in us.

Chinese Vs. Western Numerology

Chinese Astrology dates back, potentially for as much as three thousand years and it the precursor to Western Numerology developed by Pythagoras around 500 B.C. and the Jewish Kaballah which was developed around 1100 A.D.

The various methods of studying your numerology chart involve combining the numbers of your birth date and reducing them by adding them all together and continuing to add numbers until you are left with one number. For instance 2/22/1972 would be 2+2+2+1+9+7+3+2=28 and then 2+8 = 10 and then 1+0 = 1

You can also derive numbers from words by converting the letters so that A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, etc.... this is the foundation for Jewish Kaballah where they theorists have converted the entire text of the Kaballah into numbers and they study the patterns and repetitions in the massive set of numbers.

The numbers each have articles written about them for reference so you can find your root traits from the numbers in your birth date and your given names. As with Astrology, Numerology recognizes that the numbers only correspond to your fundamental influences, not including upbringing, relationships and environmental factors relating your birth and childhood.
